關於此目的地

One of Shiga's principal shrines, dedicated to Izanagi and Izanami and popularly called Ota-ga-san.
Taga Taisha is one of the leading shrines of Shiga Prefecture, enshrining the deities Izanagi and Izanami. It is affectionately known as Ota-ga-san and is worshipped as a shrine of long life, matchmaking, and protection from misfortune. The shrine draws a large number of visitors each year, particularly at New Year and during its April festival. A curved stone bridge and an approach lined with shops selling the local itokiri-mochi sweet lead to the main hall. The grounds are open to visitors and admission is free. The shrine is reached from Taga-taisha-mae Station on the Ohmi Railway.
