關於此目的地

The head shrine of roughly 1,300 Sengen (Asama) shrines nationwide, dedicated to the deity of Mount Fuji and part of the Fujisan UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha is the head shrine of about 1,300 Sengen shrines across Japan, all connected to the worship of Mount Fuji. The main deity is Konohanasakuya-hime, associated with the mountain. Its two-story main hall, built in the early 1600s under Tokugawa Ieyasu, is an Important Cultural Property and displays a distinctive architectural style known as Sengen-zukuri. Within the grounds is Wakutama Pond, a spring fed by Mount Fuji snowmelt. The shrine also owns land at the summit of Mount Fuji above the eighth station. It was inscribed as a component of the Fujisan UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2013.
