About This Destination

A museum in Hokuei about Detective Conan creator Gosho Aoyama, with displays and interactive exhibits from his manga world.

Gosho Aoyama Manga Factory explores the work of the Hokuei-born creator of Detective Conan. Displays introduce the artist and the detective’s world, with interactive elements based on inventions and tricks from the series. The approach from Yura Station, also called Conan Station, has character statues along the way. Leave time for that walk as well as the indoor museum. The current building closes for good on 11 January 2027, and a new museum is due to open in spring 2027.
