關於此目的地

A pottery town on the Chita Peninsula known for the Yakimono Sanpomichi walking path through its old kiln district and for maneki-neko cats.
Tokoname is one of Japan's six ancient kiln towns and remains a center of Tokoname ware pottery on the Chita Peninsula south of Nagoya. Its main attraction is the Yakimono Sanpomichi, a walking path through a hillside district of old brick chimneys, climbing kilns, and workshops; the shorter Course A runs about 1.6 kilometers. Along the way, shops and studios sell teapots, cups, and figurines, and pottery is worked into the walls and paved paths. The route starts near the Ceramics Hall, a short walk from Tokoname Station. On the approach, the Maneki-neko Street displays 39 cat sculptures below a large lucky-cat face known as Tokonyan.
