Suzuka Circuit is a motorsport racing venue in Suzuka that opened in 1962. Its figure-eight track is used for major races and has hosted the Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix many times. Alongside the circuit the site includes an amusement park called Motopia, with rides aimed at families and children, as well as hotels and a hot spring. Visitors can buy admission to the park or a Motopia passport that includes unlimited rides. Motorsport events are held throughout the year. The circuit is reached by bus or taxi from Shiroko Station on the Kintetsu line.
