海洋世界海之中道

Marine World Uminonakamichi is an aquarium on the Uminonakamichi sandbar that separates Hakata Bay from the open sea. Its exhibits focus on the marine environments around Kyushu, including a large tank of sharks and displays of local fish. The aquarium holds dolphin and sea lion shows and keeps animals such as penguins and seals. General adult admission is 2,500 yen, with lower rates for seniors, students, and young children. It is about a five-minute walk from JR Umi-no-Nakamichi Station, and can also be reached by ferry from central Fukuoka. There is a parking lot on site.
