關於此目的地

A preserved old-town district in Hida city with white-walled storehouses lining the Setogawa canal, where carp swim from spring to autumn.
Hida Furukawa is a small castle-town district in Hida city, a short train ride north of Takayama. Its best-known feature is the Setogawa canal, lined with white-walled storehouses (kura), where hundreds of carp swim from around April to November. The old streets include traditional merchant houses, sake breweries, and the Hida Furukawa Festival Hall. The area gained wider attention through associations with the animated film Your Name, as its townscape and station resemble scenes in the movie. The district is compact and easily explored on foot. It lies about a five-minute walk from JR Hida-Furukawa Station on the Takayama Main Line.
