關於此目的地

A wide waterfall about 120 metres across and 20 metres high that drops from flat farmland, one of Japan's 100 selected waterfalls.
Harajiri Falls lies in Ogata in Bungo-ono, where a river drops about 20 metres over a wide rock face in the middle of open farmland. The falls are roughly 120 metres across, and their setting on flat land rather than in a mountain gorge has earned them the nickname the Niagara of Oita. The rock over which the water flows was formed by ancient pyroclastic flows from the Aso volcano. A suspension bridge downstream and paths around the site let visitors view the falls from several angles, including from below. It is one of Japan's 100 selected waterfalls. The adjacent Michi-no-Eki roadside station has parking, restrooms and rental bicycles at no charge.
