關於此目的地

An architectural complex on Awaji Island designed by Tadao Ando, with the terraced Hyakudanen garden and a large greenhouse.
Awaji Yumebutai is a complex on the east coast of Awaji Island, designed by architect Tadao Ando and opened in 2000. It was built on land left as a scarred quarry after earth was removed to construct Kansai International Airport, as part of a project to restore the site. The complex mixes concrete walkways, water features, and open decks with a conference centre and a resort hotel. Its best-known element is the Hyakudanen, a garden of one hundred stepped flower beds laid out on a slope as a memorial to victims of the 1995 Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake. The grounds also include a large greenhouse and viewpoints over Osaka Bay.
