Fugan Unga Kansui Park

Fugan Unga Kansui Park is a public park laid out around the Fugan Canal, which historically linked central Toyama with the port at Iwase. The park centres on a wide basin crossed by the Tenmon Bridge, whose two towers offer views over the water and, on clear days, the Tateyama Range. A Starbucks branch overlooking the canal is often cited among the more scenic outlets of the chain. Walking and cycling paths, lawns, and a French restaurant line the water, and sightseeing boats of the Fugan Suijo Line depart from here toward Iwase. The park is about a nine-minute walk from Toyama Station. Entry is free.
