You get a cup of matcha tea when you enter this place, so really not too steep of a price of entry when you take that into account. And you get a postcard!

Since it costs a bit to enter, the crowds of the bamboo grove will not come to this place, so you can sit down and relax for a bit. The views to Kyoto are also really nice.
