# Michi-no-Eki Tojo

> Tojo is a roadside station just outside Hyogo-Tojo IC, with local produce, regional goods and places to eat. It works as a stop before exploring the Tojo Lake area rather than a destination on the lake shore itself.

Michi-no-Eki Tojo stands at the entrance to the local road network outside Hyogo-Tojo IC. Its position makes it a convenient place to pause before a day around Tojo Lake or a drive through the farming country of Kato. It is a roadside shopping and food stop, not a lakefront viewpoint.

The shops sell vegetables, rice and processed foods alongside products reflecting the area’s traditional industries, including fishing hooks and carp streamers. The broader Tojo area is also associated with Yamada Nishiki rice grown for sake brewing. That combination of farm produce and locally made goods gives the shelves a regional identity beyond the usual travel snacks.

Restaurants and a ramen shop provide meal options, but they operate on their own schedules. Check current service before planning a late lunch. Drivers leave the expressway and approach on Prefectural Route 313; the station is not a motorway service area that can be entered without using the interchange. Allow extra time to continue onward to the lake.
