Sarabiki makes a practical lunch stop on Route 173, the road linking the Nose side of northern Osaka with rural Kyotamba. Its connection to Greenland Mizuho gives the station a local recreation setting, but the market and dining room are worthwhile stops in their own right. The whole station reopened after refurbishment in July 2026.

The kitchen’s particular draw is Sarabiki juwari soba, made with buckwheat flour grown in Kyotamba. The operator also identifies local mushrooms, rice and eggs among its ingredients. Browse the produce market before eating, or choose a cafe break if you are continuing farther north. Restaurant service ends earlier than shopping, so arriving while the market is open does not guarantee a full meal.

Greenland Mizuho’s sports grounds and accommodation are separate facilities with their own booking arrangements. Check those directly if you want to turn a roadside break into a longer stay. For the station itself, use Route 173 from Kyotamba Mizuho IC and consult the current closure calendar.
