# Michi-no-Eki Aogaki

> Aogaki combines Tamba farm shopping with a meal stop near Aogaki IC and the Tamba Cloth Heritage Hall. Renovation is scheduled from July 2026 to July 2027; the operator says food and product sales continue during the works.

- Prefecture: Hyogo
- Type: Michi no eki
- Address: Tamba, Hyogo, Japan
- Hours note: Shops, cafes and restaurants have separate schedules. Check the operator’s current calendar and last orders before travelling for a meal; parking access does not mean the shops are open.
- Official site: https://eki.aogaki.jp/

Aogaki sits close to Aogaki IC in the inland farming country of Tamba. Its produce shop and Oidena dining area make it a useful break on a drive through this part of Hyogo. The neighboring Tamba Cloth Heritage Hall adds a reason to stop if you are interested in the region’s handwoven textiles as well as its food.

The station’s regional selection includes chestnut and black soybean products, with vegetables changing by season. Soba is part of the dining offer. A visit to the cloth hall is a separate activity: check its opening arrangements and any workshop reservations directly, rather than assuming a demonstration or hands-on session comes with a station visit.

The operator has announced renovation from July 2026 to July 2027, including a new restaurant building and changes to the shop and parking. It says dining and specialty-product sales continue during construction. Check the latest notice before travelling, follow temporary signs on arrival and allow for a layout that differs from older photos.
